Suitable Phosphates for Wastewater Treatment

Sodium orthophosphates like MSP, DSP and TSP are used for chemical precipitation or pH adjustment. Polyphosphates like STPP, SHMP are applied for corrosion inhibition or as intermediates in biological phosphorus removal. Phosphate solutions adjust wastewater pH to maintain optimal conditions for biochemical reactions.
